Our Services
Immobilization
Not all orthopedic injuries require surgery, but in most cases it is necessary to immobilize them to allow the body to heal, in those cases orthotic devices are used, either prefabricated (eg boots, wristbands, collars) or adapted to the injury (eg gypsum / fiberglass splints).
Infiltration
Not all orthopedic injuries require surgery, but in most cases it is necessary to immobilize them to allow the body to heal, in those cases orthotic devices are used, either prefabricated (eg boots, wristbands, collars) or adapted to the injury (eg gypsum / fiberglass splints).
Orthobiologics
It consists of the injection of growth factors obtained from your own blood (platelet rich plasma) that can help accelerate the recovery process of your injury, or delay the degeneration of your joints.
Arthroscopy
It is a type of minimally invasive joint surgery where a camera and special instruments are introduced through small incisions to repair injured joints. Most sports injuries can be managed with arthroscopy.
Joint replacement
It is a type of surgery where the injured cartilage is replaced by metal implants due to advanced joint degeneration. It’s commonly performed in the shoulder, hip and knee.
Osteosynthesis
It refers to fracture fixation through surgery by placing various types of metallic implants, such as plates, screws or nails. The same fracture can be treated with different implants, the final decision will depend on your surgeon’s preference and experience.
